The Delaware County Historical Society (DCHS) is situated inside the historic National Bank Building between City Hall and the 1724 Chester Courthouse, the oldest government building in continuous use in the United States. As Delaware County’s preeminent historical society, it reflects the entire county’s cultural past.
Museum Gallery
The Delaware County Historical Society, features a Research Library, a Museum Gallery, a Children’s Education Area and many era-style rooms packed with furniture from as early as the 17th century.
The museum gallery houses a variety of diverse exhibits that display a range of artifacts from photography, artwork, furniture pieces, portraits, clothing, jewelry war relics tools, and much more.
